Our Printer: The Fortus 250mc
The 3D printer that we use is a Fortus 250mc made by Stratasys. The Fortus 250mc is an industrial grade machine that takes care of nearly all of our prototyping needs. The Fortus 250mc make parts using “production-grade ABSplus” thermos plastic. The material is impact resistant, durable, can be solvent bonded together to make very large prototypes and even threaded for fasteners.
